Tara, thank you for presenting a very informational podcast on foreign land ownership. It definitely is a front burner issue and very important on several fronts. You did a masterful job of presenting important questions and creating a conversational flow which illuminated potential problems. Like you, I have wondered how significant is the issue. As your guest commented, every purchase, even if it’s only hundreds or thousands of acres, provides a foothold into our country. Great job, Tara. 💚
I was excited to discover this podcast, and listened to a few episodes and loved them. But then I listened to one where there were some pro-Trump comments made that made me a little sad to here. I think that the farm and ag conversations they have are great, but speaking positively about someone that is actually doing a lot of harm to this industry and country and it’s people (and beyond), I don’t know how to feel aside from disappointed:/
i’m from a new mexican cattle ranch and i absolutely love this podcast. most of the folks i’m around do not share my background, but they also love this podcast. so… 10/10, 5 stars, very accessible and informative. not boring. love.
I enjoy listening to these two ladies cover all of the topics! You never know what they are going to dish out. Natalie and Tara do such a job keeping it fun while being very informational. Thanks for the shoutout to NY dairy farmers in last week’s episode by the way! Very involved in the dairy world here in upstate NY.
I look forward to the show every Thursday morning! I love learning about the other ag industries we have in the US.
