United States2 months ago Very great story , the world's magic sysetem and culture is unique and I loved the diverity of the characters. These episodes had one cohesive story arch, that was well paced, but ended on a note that leaves room for more stories in this fascinating world.

i binged the entire season in a day, and i can't wait for season two. this show is fantastic, the characters are fantastic, and the music is breathtaking. the worldbuilding is fantastic, and the horror aspects are very well done. if you like stories about small, interesting people in the face of vast unknowable forces, or stories of family and community, you will love this podcast. plus, eels are cool and what could be cooler that huge baleen eels!!!

The story weaves magic, friendship and misunderstood sea creatures into an audio adventure that should not be missed. Something about the show’s setting/aesthetic just works so incredibly well in audio and I loved that the team made an effort to include disabled characters who regularly get left out of the fantasy narrative. I’m already excited for season 2!
