The only podcast I listen to at regular speed :)
Love the podcast. Have loved ECM since 1975. One quibble: the interviewer for the Zsófia Boros talks too much, and finishes her sentences, and even veers into mansplaining. Very distracting and disrespectful to the artist. Let her speak. Boros is perfectly fluent in English and needs no translation or interpretation by the interviewer. I love this podcast. I discovered ECM in 1978, and have hundreds of ECM recordings. I am ECM obsessed. more
Like many of my generation the first listen to an ECM recording in the mid 70’s really changed my perception of music…it was like discovering a pandoras box….which continues to this day. Ralph’s Trios/Solos and Diary was the first exposure to the label and his music has been a lifelong friend, along with many other ECM releases….this is a wonderful podcast and a huge thank you for making this available.
