Really enjoyed this podcast but it seems you’ve lost interest and updates are few and far between.
Was great, then just stopped reporting
I have a really hard time listening to the comments about the DNA evidence. How do you know that the FBI lab is any better than the private DNA lab? DNA mixtures are part of the job. Sometimes you just can’t separate out the parts of the mixture. From what I know (as a forensic DNA analyst), the FL lab has the same mixture deconvolution program as the FBI. It’s a limitation of the technology not the lab. These are all speculations coming from someone who isn’t an expert in that field.
We don’t need more daily updates about maybe this and maybe that and what about this and what about that. The authorities have no idea what happened or who did it or why. It just keeps going on and on. Anything to keep it in the news. If this was anybody other than a rich TV personality this would just go into the standard FBI queue of missing persons.
