  • You’ll learn things you never knew you never knew.

“There are worlds within worlds . . .”

    -Magi Lune

Like within any genre, unless you take a peak inside, you will never know all the facets that you are missing. From the outside, the world of piping gets confused with historical reenactment, gimmicky fusion music, and catty, competition politics. But by listening to this podcast, you see that there is so much more to the world of piping and so much more to those who participate in this largely undiscovered world. Take a relaxing listen and disco... more

  • The hosts audio is terrible

I really like to hear bagpipe podcasts.

Unfortunately I’ve listened to 10 or so podcasts of Droning on and every single episode there’s a huge difference in volume between the host and the guest.

I’ll give the show a few more tries and if the audio issue isn’t resolved, I’ll listen to other podcasts.

The thing is….. it’s not the material he discusses, that’s actually really good…it’s the fact that I have to play with my volume throughout the show so I can hear what’s being said.

    And before a... more

It was always natural for me to embrace music; I didn't rebel against it.
125: Cedar Dobson

Q: What about your album, Oh When Now, if you’re not tired to tell the story, I’d love to hear the little story about that title again?
