Just a suggestion on maintaining a decen... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

GOSSY GOOD TIMES with Scope and Barney featuring Harrison Devenish-Meares
Q: What was Harrison Devenish-Meares' impression of the facilities and the move to Papua New Guinea?
He described it as a work-in-progress with urgency from top to bottom, noted the potential for quicker progress, and emphasized that players must assess it themselves, as it wouldn't be solely decided by hearsay.
Comedian Daniel Connell LIVE IN STUDIO!
Q: What's your process for writing a new show each year?
He describes daily note-taking, reading news, and sitting down around June to craft a complete show by Christmas, then testing bits at smaller open mic nights.
Comedian Daniel Connell LIVE IN STUDIO!
Q: How did you end up based in Melbourne, and what drew you to the Melbourne comedy scene?
Connell talks about moving for opportunities, the density of gigs in Melbourne, and the overall scene being more conducive to developing new material.
Cowboys captain Reuben Cotter discusses the impact of the new six-again rule on the game and how Drinkwater handled informing the playing group of his departure
Q: So, Reubs, just like, if there's a six again, right, and you're in, what is it like when you're in the middle and you can't hide from the tempo?
The middle forwards feel the immediate impact of six-again cycles; you can't hide, the game speeds up, and you have to stay on your feet, communicate, and maintain intensity through continuous sets while managing fatigue.
CARPARK LURKERS with Fletch and Scope featuring PNG General Manager Michael Chammas and Morning Glory Host Matty Johns
Q: What makes the Jarome Luai signing particularly significant for PNG Chiefs beyond the money?
It signals a legacy-building approach, aiming to attract global attention, develop local pathways, and create a sustainable leadership and coaching structure in PNG that goes beyond a single star player's contribution.
