I love this podcast. Every episode brings a smile to my face.
This story hit on another levels for me. Whether it’s losing my grandmother to a terrible disease to Louie discovering things about himself and finding one another from one night in a drive-thru. I would love to hear more of these and even one day revisit Louie and Gabe!
as someone in a caregiver role and who feels things very deeply this made me feel so seen in every way you could think of. really giving me something- the feeling of being seen and heard and loved in such a raw real way- at just the right time that i never even realized i needed until it arrived. sometimes you just need to do one simple thing for yourself to make everything a little bit okay again. and a simple gesture from a stranger, listening and just taking care of you even in a tiny way, ca... more
came for the queer romance, stayed for the characters and exploration of grief!
absolutely beautiful show, listened to all 33 episodes in one sitting and it’s SO good, but i desperately need a hug after. thank you
A slow burn romance through the speaker of a fast food drive through between two characters going through some significant life struggles. The voice acting is amazing and it packs a punch into short snippets of dramatic episodes. I highly recommend.

The episodes blend warmth, whimsy, and occasional whimsical fantasy props with intimate conversations about grief, ambition, and navigating young adulthood. Production notes emphasize a tightly produced, character-driven world with a strong sense of whimsy and a meta, behind-the-scenes framing that highlights the creators and cast behind the scenes. This show may appeal to listeners who enjoy tender, dialogue-heavy storytelling with quirky, fantastical elements and a hopeful, human core.
