When I can learn something new from a podcast episode, it was worth my time. When I can learn several things from an episode, it’s an excellent show. I hope future segments are just as good.
I first heard Adam Becker speaking on the dystopia now podcast and immedietly read both of his books. This podcast is a much needed breath of fresh air and pertinent commentary on the times we’re living in right now.
Hope. We all need hope. It is part of the pursuit of happiness, and dreams are its blueprints. Dreams of a better future. Dreams of good life. Dreams of a world that values people over things and peace and contentment over profits and prisons--where gatekeepers become teachers and guardians of resources become protectors of humanity...all of humanity. This podcast is about creating hope, about dreaming of a better future than the ones we've been programmed to believe in, and Adam is our hacker.
