There are some good ideas here but it feels a bit cultish. Dr. Greene portrays his model as very collaborative, but he’s so dismissive of any other approaches. It’s ironic that he himself is so rigid and is such a heavy-handed salesman.
Great info and way to learn about collaborative parenting solutions, in addition to or as an alternative to fully reading or listening to The Explosive Child.
… but not a fan of the poor sound quality of this podcast. Surely someone could help them with this.

I attended a two day workshop with Ross greene a couple of weeks ago and he was so engaging and knowledgable so I was exciting to listen to the podcast. Unfortunately the quality of the sound is so bad I had to turn it off after a couple of minutes
I love Dr. Greene's approach, and though we are only in the early stages of using CPS with our explosive child after reading the book, we can already see it's transformational potential in our family.
I have one constructive criticism of the podcast - when responding to emails from parents, Dr. Greene's answer often includes 'you haven't provided enough specific information about what this child's unsolved problem is', with advice then given to continue 'drilling' for information.
