  • Ollyollyollyollyollyolly- oxenfree!

Ive been listening for less than a week and this is already my favorite comfort show. So far I’m listening to the recent catalogue and I’m excited to hear the old episodes with Jo, but I think I’m going to miss Sue the Subway Train!

Also, as implied by the title, the theme song for Dr. Errands has not left my head since I heard it.

  • Manolo is unhinged.

I recently started listening coming from another Max Fun podcast. I really botched the timing with Jo. Sorry. It’s made me laugh out loud so very many times but Manolo’s theme songs in episode 46 were maniacal and have upset my tummy from the laughs.

  • Manolo!

Really fun, creative, surprising show. Turns out Jo was dragging him down. Just kidding. She is missed. But it’s exciting to hear what the show will turn into

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

195. Navy Buddies
Q: What is the theme of the second game, Wee Wee or Wee?
Manolo explains the objective: the caller says one word and Manolo figures out which word was said; correct guess yields a magnet.
BoCo Sample Pt. 2 JoBoCo (ft. Jo Firestone)
Q: Jo, what's your favorite dinosaur?
I'd probably have to say brontosaurus. I like those ones that are really, really long and eat plants.
191. Guess How Small, King
Q: Are you taller or shorter than Abraham Lincoln?
The host makes a guess, and the guest confirms or corrects; the guess is treated as a knowledge check, not a definitive fact.
183. Bingo Bitz Bonks Christmas!
Q: What was the song that the cool kids or the older kids played for you that made you feel really cool and special?
The Wombats' song 'Tokyo' featured in an anime music video which was pivotal in the contributor's teenage years.
158. Chip Bracket
Q: How do you make ice at home without a crushed ice maker?
One way is to use a really tiny ice cube tray, cut into 100 slots instead of 12.
