It works. It puts me to sleep. And it’s hilarious in an understated, wonderful way. And also, somehow interesting but boring enough to make you fall asleep . I don’t know how it is all of these contradictory things, but it is. BUT please only stress free topics!!
Going through menopause during the LA fires: I had to skip town for about a week with a sick child. All the sleep I got last week was thanks to this podcast. I have a reflexive yawn when I hear the theme song to this show. It works so well. I usually fall asleep to a podcast, but when nothing else is working and my brain is all rilled up, this show is the only thing that puts me to sleep. I’m so thankful.

She’s so much like my mom, who I shared the episode with and got new stories after I managed to stay awake over lunch on the second play through. At night this podcast is guaranteed to put me to sleep by creating a safe space to kibitz someone else’s hobby. Their goal is usually not my goal but sometimes as with Amy Tan’s episode the hobby is something w... more
My husband told me about this show because Alan Tudyk is on it and now I’m the best sleepy sleeper on earth. I love all of the guests and hope they make this show forever.
