It was honestly so painful to listen to such a depressed and discouraging voice.
Dr. Beeke is a great preacher. I have one of his books. The podcast, however, interrupts his sermon right in the middle for several commercials, attempting to sell various books. I find this to be very off putting and it will keep me from visiting this podcast.
I appreciate this podcast so much! I am so drawn to this kind of preaching- reformed experiential- I love it! I love the consistent born-again message-It’s always there, that gospel call to the unconverted, and the sweet and true experience of the born-again believer! I love how Joel Beeke addresses and gives practical application to both. And being reformed, there is reverence for God and love for his ways, which is so refreshing to my soul to hear!
So so good.🙏
I love the balance that Beeke has between going deep in theology and speaking to the heart of listeners. Truly reformed preaching.
I feel blessed by the wisdom learned in this pocast... I look forward to the brand new reformed apologetics book
