Had been a solid 5 but the obsession with mentioning Nigel Farage and Reform in every exchange is starting to take the shine off it. Sure once they’ve got it out their system it will be back on form.
As said on a different review - the host talks way too much. Sometimes says something interesting but other times not and just interrupting his own guests. A few questionable opinion too, which we all have to be fair but they spoil the whole show. It could be really good, but a little up itself and opinionated
Amazing show, the new guy is particularly fun and charismatic
I’ve always liked this podcast - particularly in its first incarnation - and it still has a lot to recommend it. But where they used to have a ‘no-swearing’ policy, and - by no means an unrelated point - the most enjoyable and wide-ranging discussions among all DW podcasts, it has recently become a disappointing swear-fest.
