I struggle a lot with mindset and resistance and Emily is so loving and gentle but forthright in her delivery! Such a gem of a podcast! It makes me want to get back into my studio and paint more.
Thank you for your beautiful work, words, and wisdom. Always a joy to listen, learn, and become inspired along your journey and with your encouragement to others. Love your podcast & highly recommend Making Art Work (though it could almost be two semesters…🤭💖🤗) ✨🤍✨
Emily’s voice has changed how I see myself and understand my innate being as a creative. Though I am not a visual artist, I found her resources transferable. Most of all I LOVE her voice, so reassuring and empowering! I’m a pianist, listening is how I enjoy taking in information. She shares so much about her personal recovery from burnout which was what drew me to her at first. I connected with her generous and loving nature. Since then I started my piano studio. Her latest episode on desires fo... more
I am so happy that Emily is back to making podcasts! I took her MAW (Making Art Work) in 2022 and I LOVED it. It was very transformational and I believe because of her course I started selling my artwork.
I found that it was not only a course for improving my art business but improving my life. Growing as a person. The lessons transfer to so much. Values, social media, how we communicate, connection.. I could go on.
❤️❤️❤️
I listen to this podcast whenever I don’t know where to start or feel overwhelmed. This wasn’t intentional, but I recently realised I turn to Emily’s work (including this podcast and her courses) when I need a gentle, kind push. A reminder that things don’t have to be perfect, and to take it one step at a time. The downside is it gets me going when painting, but it means I’ve rarely paid attention to whole episode since I get caught up in my work - sorry! But a great compliment I think :)
