Gareth is clearly a dedicated Dexter fan and I’ve enjoyed his reviews over the years via Dissecting Dexter. The one bit of constructive criticism I would offer is to focus on upskilling when it comes to interview-format podcasts. From a podcast that didn’t really do interviews to one that now routinely interviews major Dexter names, would suggest working on your responses to answers. A “hmm..yeah” to every answer gets tired and I think it would be more interesting for your listeners and intervie... more
I enjoy listening to the podcast and just started but find it annoying he continually abandons the rewatch podcast for the recent seasons that are released in his area. If he focused on the rewatched podcast, may have well caught up to the current seasons rather than taking so long for episodes. Not sure why season 3/4 episodes were skipped in favor of going into season 5 and are now being released. Still waiting on season 4.
Enjoying listening to this after watching everything in entirety for the first time….. but where is season 4? That whole thing is missing. Gareth also mentions a podcast interview with David Zeyas but I don’t see that on here either.
I’ve been obsessed with the DISSECTING DEXTER podcast since my first listen a few years ago (I went back and re-watched Dexter to then listen to the corresponding podcast episodes I hadn’t known existed). It’s been SO fun for this Dexter nerd. I can’t wait to tune in to the podcast after each Dexter centered TV show/episode. Gareth is the best and picking apart Dexter with him, the guests he brings on from time to time, and listener feedback is SO satisfying. LOVE IT. 💉❤️
I am a Dexter fan to the core. I don't know why I never thought to look for Dexter, but I just found this one great podcast, but I do want to say that the New York ripper is the police detective partner the guy. It's kinda like how Dexter worked at the police station and was the butcher. Same situation. Is why Leon has so much pull at the police station.
