Good Story! Great narration! Interestion concept and very plot. A perfect study for a DM on how to develop/narrate the campaign or players whom struggle with acting out/developing their character Says enough. Give it a try
I have to confess: I listened to a whole episode on another feed I follow in one of those “[Podcast Name] presents…” episodes. I hated it so much I couldn’t commit to any more. Most of the whole painful episode was taken up with overly ponderous, pretentiously slow voiceover of a battle scene. Worse, it was backed by cliche, overly dramatic mood music. Unfortunately, that kind of atmospheric effect is meant to emphasize a moment - to lift the listener up to a pinnacle of feeling. Using it as bac... more
A great story abd acting that evolved from an actual game so wonderfully done with a different type of imagination. This shoulg be a must listen to all that love to play D&D. If that wasn't enough the amount of Special Guests from other podcasts is telling the quality is there and more. The production quality just keeps getting better each season. Keep up the great work!
I stumbled onto this show about a year and a half or so ago. The prologue is good, I can tell you where I was, what the weather was outside, and what I was doing. And it only gets better from there.
Mike and the entire DTT crew are some of the most amazing people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with.
I cannot recommend this show highly enough.
Blown Away
I stepped into this story interested because I heard the promo posted on Twitter when I was asking for podcasts to review and I am blown away. This campaign turned audio drama has absolutely stellar production quality and the voice acting and narration are perfect. I was making dinner and figured i would just listen to one or two and before I knew it I had listened to at least six episodes. The story grabs you incredibly quickly and the voice acting and narration drag you right into ... more
