竹北市博愛南路的戶外籃球場今年在客委會禾埕計畫的補助下獲得1900萬元，加上竹北市公所自籌的1400萬元資金支持，經過重新整地，升級為風雨球場，並以富有設計感的外型命名為「星際球場」。
