現況如此，必須把握教學現場，讓不好的事止於校園，不再擴大。
明智也擺出嚴師的姿態（？）表示，不能輕忽小地方，從偏見、歧視到屠殺都是歷史曾經發生過的。
幾年前，明智在處理原住民文學的碩士論文時，曾經陷入拘泥於「寫得好不好」的困境。
是某次在花蓮緩緩書屋（現為彼心書店）遇見老闆Awa，看到她身為漢人，卻能清楚意識自己的位置，並以自己的方式和原住民互動、也為他們盡一分力，這才成為明智寫作得以繼續完成的動力。

別的先略過不談，聽到100集講台派那段覺得其實滿自助餐的，如果主持人可以辯解說你罵的只有不願意聆聽其他人的「台派」，那同理其他人是不是也可以說他們罵的只有親中的「金馬人」呢？ 覺得一直以來劉毅對金馬的各種論述是我突破同溫層言論很重要的資訊來源，非常感謝提供其他觀點，但聽到這段實在覺得有些過於詭辯了吧。（另外關於路權，覺得經常實在講得很輕巧，當過民代助理就知道有多難推，例如路口改成安全庇護島，兩個月後被附近居民說會刮到車只好強迫改回去的鬼故事多得不得了⋯⋯）
