  • One of the best

One of my favorite podcasts - Pistons or otherwise. Laz and Ben do a great job speaking from an educated fan perspective and matching that perspective to their analysis. Somebody pick these guys up while they’re still free agents!

  • Less Millennial “Up-talk” cadence.

Very good info!!! Please stop talking (Laz) like you’re always asking a question. Not every sentence ends in a ????? mark.

    Makes it cringeworthy.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Could Malik Beasley Still Fit? I The Pindown
Q: When the Pistons need a bucket during the playoffs this past year, they went to Tobias Harris or Tim Hardaway Jr. Do they still need to add a clutch player?
They already may have that guy in Cade, and they want their young guys to take the leap to confidence in those clutch moments.
Introducing Chaz Lanier I The Pindown
Q: Do you think that drafting Chaz Lanier is more likely now that Tim Hardaway Jr.'s days in Detroit are numbered?
Drafting Lanier shouldn't impact Tim Hardaway Jr.'s potential return, as Lanier is more of a developmental player while Hardaway is experienced and has continually contributed to the team.
Introducing Chaz Lanier I The Pindown
Q: What are your thoughts on the Quentin Grimes trade now that the other part of it has been completed?
The trade is a win for Detroit, as they received Tim Hardaway Jr, who contributed significantly and future draft capital, while Quentin Grimes is no longer with the Mavericks.
How Active will the Pistons be in Free Agency I The Pindown
Q: What are you looking for statistically in a second option?
I think the biggest thing for me is, you need the number two option to be a scorer. Like I think he has to be a 20 point per game guy.
Most Vital Playoff Players I The Pindown
Q: Are you worried right now about Cade's injury?
I wasn't, but as each game passes by, I understand the increasing worry. The plan is to get Cade back ready for the game Saturday, which is a good sign.
