  • Same episodes

I love this show; I find it so fascinating. But it’s time for new episodes. It’s been a few years now of the same episodes over and over.

  • Antiques Road Show

Has a special place in my heart. Particularly the North American version, but the British show as well. My only complaint about the podcast (aside from Marsha being completely intolerable to listen to) is that there are so few episodes, and constant encores. I’d love to see more new episodes. Love it. Thanks.

I don’t think there is anything about the show I don’t like. It’s put together so well and you and Marsha make a great team.

  • Reruns published as new episodes

I truly like this podcast. And have learned much from it. However, I do not understand why so many of the older episodes are being issued as New. I was happy to see a new season start but so far nothing has been new.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

A Lasting Impression
Q: Are you skeptical when someone says they have the personal seal of a former president?
Skepticism is tempered by years of Roadshow experience, and in this case the wax impression and accompanying documents lined up with the Madison papers, making the piece credible.
A Lasting Impression
Q: We had something on the road show that was a seal from James Madison. Do you remember this one at all?
Yes, I do; it was James Madison's personal seal, which matched historical records and the envelope it was on, confirming its provenance.
Jaws vs. the Jinx
Q: How did the possibility of a high auction price around the 50th anniversary affect the auction strategy?
The team timed the auction to align with the anniversary hoopla, which boosted attention and bidders, ultimately helping push the price higher than earlier estimates.
Bunny Business
Q: Did you ever Google our guest?
The conversation reveals casual, playful discovery about Candace's Playboy past, with the team joking and confirming familiarity, which sets the tone for an intimate, memory-filled interview.
The Fake That Is or Isn’t
Q: Is there a true yes or no about the egg being Fabergé or not?
The panel moves through multiple expert opinions, ultimately trending toward not Fabergé due to provenance, making it a late-era lookalike rather than a genuine imperial piece.
