Obwohl ich mich schon sehr für Geschichte interessiere, lerne ich hier immer noch hinzu. Besonders, wenn Themen behandelt werden, die in Deutschland nicht im Fokus stehen. Es wird meistens ausreichend tief recherchiert und unterhaltsam dargestellt. Die Länge ist passend für die tägliche Fahrt zur Arbeit. Mein Fazit: Macht weiter so!

Hier bekommt man weniger die zurückhaltende wissenschaftliche ambivalente Geschichte, sondern mehr die typische schulbuchhafte Geschicht - ikonische Bilder, große Narrativ mit all den erwartbaren vorgefertigten Einordnungen, Deutungen, und schwarz-weiß Moralisierungen, kongruent mit der allgemeinen politisch-ideologischen Linie des DLF. Allein in der Titelwahl der Folgen liest man häufig schon die angestrebte moralische Einordnung zu dem Thema.
