  • Quality Podcast

It’s always a pleasure to listen to a professional crew intelligently reviewing the efforts of the “Team we love”. Although Binman does display an allowed one-eyed tendency with a positive outlook.

  • My Kinda Podcast

When too much Demon talk is barely enough. Seeing the podcast land in my feed on Tuesday morning is mighty. I love the new theme song at the end of the show. And can’t wait for Andy’s return to the mike after his well- deserved break.

  • Stats files feedback

I want to say that the addition of the stats files as a stand alone podcast is fantastic.

But I think it can be upgraded in a couple ways. Yes, it is a niche, but if you click on the stats files podcast, you are in the niche and want at least an hour of binman dribble. Please don’t apologise for taking an hour. Make it at least an hour to handle the topics well.

With the additional time, can you please ask binman to slow down his speech just a little bit to make fewer mistakes and be easier t... more

  • Quality Work

Genuine appreciation to George, Andy and Binman for the type of analysis that just isn’t available in mainstream media.

Since tuning into the podcast I look at footy in a completely different way. While pundits point to the obvious or take a contrary position just for the sake of it, this is intelligent commentary with just the right amount of bias!

Beyond the analysis, they also respectfully unpack the game - they play the ball and not the man.

Sincere gratitude for the time and effort you ... more

Rd 10 2026 Melbourne Demons vs Hawthorn
Q: What was the key tactical adjustment that disrupted Hawthorn's game?
Moving Petty forward and then back as needed, plus leveraging Barass' absence to disrupt Hawthorn's interceptor setup—these moves, along with King's overall game plan, reduced Hawthorn's effectiveness and opened up Melbourne's forward options.
Rd 07 2026 Melbourne Demons vs Richmond
Q: What stood out about Kozzy Pickett's Anzac Eve performance?
Kozzy was influential across multiple facets—ball use, pressure, and goal impact—standing out as a complete player who is now considered among the elite, not just a flashy small forward.
Rd 03 2026 Melbourne Demons vs Carlton
Q: Was the slow start a systemic issue or a one-off?
The panel attributed the first-quarter struggles to execution errors and boundary-inbound setup, but credited the coaching staff for rapid adaptation and a decisive turnaround in the second and third quarters.
Rd 03 2026 Melbourne Demons vs Carlton
Q: Gorn's 250th game energy: how did leadership on field influence the late-quarter surge?
The discussion notes that Gorn's presence and the team's structure around him, plus Max's dominance in hit-outs, enabled Kozzy and Sparrow to build momentum and the midfield to push forward, contributing to the late surge.
The Stats Files Rd 01 2026
Q: Any questions?
Andy invites questions about the structure and evolution of the Stats Files, and Binman notes that the format may continue to be refined as the season progresses, with feedback welcome in the Demonland thread.
