Really hope the Demons look at Nathan Basset for senior coach. I’m a long time Norwood supporter from the SANFL. I saw Basset come to Norwood and take them from disaster to 3 successive flags. I think he’s a special talent.
Please - look at Basset.
Thanks guys for a great podcast, I love your light hearted yet factual in depth analyses. I listened to Binman’s review of the west coast game with a sinking heart after hearing about Goodwin’s sacking. I agree that there were very positive signs for us to see about the game plan evolving. I think Goody has had so many challenges that have been beyond his control-eg. Losing Brayshaw, Clarry’s issues, Trac’s “accidental injury”, JoelSmith etc etc. Brad Green kept saying “he is a terrific coach”- ... more
The Demonland podcast is an enjoyable mix of in-depth statistical analysis with entertaining chat between passionate long suffering Dees fans. As someone who lives overseas listening to this fills the void of dissecting our matches with my friends.
The live fan engagement from the forum adds to the feeling that we could all just be chatting about the team’s progress (or sometimes regression) over a beer.

Can you please listen to what you’re saying, you’re successfully diagnosing the issues with the club at the moment - communication, accountability, effort.. but somehow absolving the most influential cog (the coach) from that. Extraordinary. You’ve had a go at Brad green for referencing the third quarter? Do you know who referenced it 4 times in their press conference? This guy has had an obvious lack of accountability for “his guys” fo... more
