In the previous two episodes I talked about how search officials became convinced that the plane must have gone into the southern Indian Ocean because they didn’t think that debris could be planted, and they didn’t think that Inmarsat data could be t... more
Soon after MH370 vanished in 2014, investigators became convinced that there was only one possible explanation: that the plane's captain, Zaharie Ahmed Shah, had hijacked the plane and carried out an elaborate and technically sophisticated plan to co... more
In July of 2015, fifteen months after Malaysica Airlines Flight 370 disappeared into the night, a piece of its right wing washed ashore on La Réunion island in the western Indian Ocean. Investigators hoped that barnacles growing on the wing could off... more
With the latest round of seabed search suspended after a fairly miniscule of progress, there’s a lot of frustration right now about the search for MH370. A lot of people just can’t believe that, in this day and age, countries like the United States a... more

My two biggest interests are MH370 and Titanic. This podcast is what I’ve been looking for on MH370. A fascinating aviation mystery and Jeff is amazing at what he does.
I found this podcast after watching Jeff on the Netflix documentary. I couldn’t help but think he has a lovely voice to listen to, (Kevin Spacey voice), and obviously I have got sucked into this mystery and he has a significant back catalogue of in depth podcast episodes. Some of the theories are a bit tenuous and yet the guests, most of whom seem to be experts in their fields, bring new answers to the case. I find him really likeable but I would like to hear from victim’s relatives a little mo... more
I’m a PhD research scientist so I am a sucker for well laid out facts and information. And that’s exactly what Jeff Wise does here. I’m not saying I agree with some of the ideas put forward but that’s beyond the point. He lays out all the facts in a logical, coherent manner for listeners to judge for themselves. There is nothing else like this anywhere on MH370 or, for that matter, in the podcasting world in general. Great Job to Jeff Wise for making it informative and also VERY bingeable and en... more
Stick with the first season. Jeff isn’t unhinged there. This second season is all about political rants and Jeff having TDS.
The trump derangement syndrome is strong with the host, ruins an otherwise ok podcast. Jeff is a sad man and I hope he finds peace one day but right now this is unlistenable.

This show centers on aviation mysteries, with a strong focus on the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappearance. Episodes frequently scrutinize seabed searches, underwater vehicles, and physical evidence (like barnacles on debris) while weighing competing theories with data-driven analysis. A standout trait is its willingness to challenge official narratives and explore methodological lessons from aerospace investigations, often featuring experts across aviation, oceanography, and related fields. Listeners who enjoy rigorous, sometimes controversial, examination of complex cases with expert guests will likely find it engaging and binge-worthy.
