  • Opinion not history

Grow up kid. A serious podcaster would deliver the facts without prefacing personal political opinions of how 2020 dramas can be morphed into Ancient Roman politics. You’ll have a select group that agrees with you, and are just as boorish. more

... this is the podcast for you! I knew only the basics of republican Roman history, but this podcast was do informative and fun I have bought several books on the topic since it ended! The post-series episodes have also been a blast and have taught me so much about the gender roles and important women of the late Roman Republic!

  • Facts and Fun

I found this podcast very late in the series, but quickly became a fan. It is entertaining and educational... Come for the facts, stay for the fun. The post-series add more depth to the women who were intertwined in these events. Thanks for bringing us along in your enthusiastic telling of this period of history.
