Very well done and well presented. Eye opening on people/movements that were overlooked or not explained.
This show pulled me in like no other recently. Both seasons are incredibly! I HOPE we’ll be treated to more Death of an Artist!
Season 1 Summary: Prominent Artist, accused of killing his wife, is acquitted because…sexism. Host thinks he did it. No proof, evidence or investigation is provided.
Also, art curators are “so important and powerful”
Don’t waste your time.
Season 1 was phenomenal and I was so excited to see that there was a season 2 especially seen as it was dedicated to the influence of Lee Krasner. The discussions evoke deep reflections on artistic genius, trauma, and the intersection of personal and professional lives. Noteworthy is the podcast's dual narrative style: one season serves as a powerful historical recounting while the other incorporates elements of investigation into tragic events surrounding artists' lives, making this series particularly unique and engaging for those interested in the intricate... more
