Very interesting, informative, and important discussions that visit topics we don’t like to deal with, but all will have to one day. Something different and valuable to learn about.
I’ve long followed Caitlin Doughty’s YouTube channel and social media and I’ve read all her books. This podcast is an excellent extension of the Death Positive movement. Information I’ve gleaned through time from them has helped me in numerous ways. It also allowed me to be a better, more proactive help to my loved ones when our other loved ones have passed away. So glad they’re adding new episodes again!
As someone who has always struggled with anxiety surrounding death (my own and that of loved ones) this podcast, along with Caitlin’s YouTube channel, have helped so much. Being able to normalize having a conversation about death and how we handle death helps take the stress and anxiety out of it. I feel like I’m living a better life because of programs like these.
Death positivity from death positive workers/artists/authors in the truest sense. We’re all facing it, but knowing how to navigate the funeral industry, plan for older parents, especially those interested in a green burial, or what you need/don’t need to do within your state/county is covered. Also interesting historical stories. Love it!
So excited for new episodes! First two seasons really inspired me and pushed me to think about and talk about death in new ways. I appreciate the thoughtful conversation, unfaltering kindness and humor that each episode delivers. Many, many thanks for all you do!
