Death By DVD: When watching is never enough. We here at Death By DVD sit painfully through hours and hours of movies so you, the public, can make an informed decision of what you put in your ear holes and eye holes. Some of these films are good, some bad, and some even unmentionable; but ALL have one thing in common : Watching all of these movies will one day melt our brains into a sloppy wet mush... more

  • Exploiting Christine #97 & #98

This was an awesome to show series and commentary about the sad ending to Christine Chubbuck. interesting to know that her death was almost 50 years ago. You’re an analysis about the news media and American culture was spot on.

  • Standout in a crowd of content

After getting caught up in the discourse surrounding the movie “The Sound of Freedom” I got in the mood for a deep dive into another flick that exploited the people it purported to elevate- “Cannibal Holocaust”. I listened to 25 different podcasts and found 20 repeated the same conversations, largely reading aloud the entries on the movie from Wikipedia and IMDB. This podcast was one of the 5 that stood out enough for me to listen to more of their back catalogue. At the end of the day, this is o... more

  • Love it.

I signed up for the Patreon level. The conversation may not always go the way I want it to go, but it’s always a step ahead of your typical movie podcast that has people simply rehashing the main plot points. More people should tune in, listen through each episode until the bottle is empty and the ashtray is full.

  • Been listening to Death By DVD for almost 10 years now and it has only gotten better. The newest season finally got them off of Blogtalkradio and improved the audio quality drastically, plus the skits and "commercials" are absolutely hilarious. Hank and Nash know their stuff, deep diving into films. in a way few others can. absolutely a must-listen for the true cinephile!
