Interessante onderzoekspodcast naar de zogenaamde bio 2000 ketting waarvan de maker beweert dat het een wetenschappelijk onderbouwde medische uitwerking zou hebben op het menselijk lichaam. Reeds 20 jaar spant uitvinder Santanera doorlopende rechtszaken aan tegen consumentenprogramma Tros Radar, die in 2004 zich heel kritisch opstelde tegenover deze ketting.

Iedereen weet al jaren dat dit gewoon oplichterij is, waarbij elke ‘werking’ voortkomt uit het placebo-effect (waar niets mis mee is). Het is ook de zoveelste onderzoeksjournalistieke podcast waarbij de laatste aflevering de overige afleveringen overbodig maakt.

Ernstig verhaal. Ik kan me niet onttrekken aan de gedachte dat Santanera al twintig jaar aan PTSS lijdt na de onthullingen van RADAR en de situatie niet kan accepteren. Als iets waar je je hele leven in gelooft (al is het achteraf een broodje app), doet dat pijn. Heel treurig.
