  • Eh….

Been listening for a bit more than a year now, but am now done. I’ll echo some of the comments regarding what I too believe is Evan’s overly negative opinion of the front office. Worse than that is the majority of guests, which typically occupy 2/3 to 3/4 of many episodes, are just not intriguing and in some cases just factually inaccurate. To illustrate, a very recent guest was attempting to explain that winning the AL Central would come down to just scoring 3 runs/game since most of the tea... more

  • Enjoy the show but

Evan reads so many statistics. There’s no way people can properly digest all the numbers, the human brain just isn’t designed that way. (Maybe he can use rankings or just say they’re good/average/bad). Nevertheless, happy to have this in my podcast lineup.

  • Great Tigers Analysis

Listened all season & was a great show with a lot of insights. I appreciate that the commentary was honest & unbiased. Would like to see more shows weekly as there were plenty of gaps this season. Evan has a tendency to be VERY repetitive at times which like the Tigers whiff rate can be very frustrating. If Evan can work on this in the off season it would greatly improve his production. Really like Chris Brown on other podcasts & he was an excellent addition to this podcast as well. I would like... more

  • Angry Host

Evan just seems angry all the time. Chris Brown is a great guest and partner, love Chris. Free Press needs to switch Evan off the beat, as I’m pretty sure he just hates the Tigers front office over past events. It comes across.
