Glad I found this podcast!
This is my first rewatch of my fav show as a teen. I too am the same age as the characters were at the time so I wanted to find a podcast to add to my rewatch. As a Brit, I appreciate some of these deep dives that explore US culture and context. However, despite these interesting perspectives, I do find it difficult to follow the discussion due to the sheer volume of ‘like’/‘you know’/‘totally’ filler words that, for me, dilute the impact of their conversations.
How did you like this show if you hated Dawson so much? Geez. And Jen can do no wrong. I enjoy this podcast when the hosts enjoying the show for what it is, a troubled teen drama, but the laying the entirety of 2020 viewpoints at Dawson is annoying. You say that “Dawson is rich” so many times. Check your own shaming of a teen boy who was born into a middle class home.
