The story is a wonderful balance of hardship and happiness, with plenty of movement and endearing moments shaping David’s life to hold my interest throughout. Charles Dickens deserves his place among the greatest authors and the narrator is a master storyteller.
Excellent reading!
Excellent narration!
An oratory gem, a truly brilliant performance by Tadhg Hynes. Lovingly and genuinely rendered, never over-dramatized. Dickens could only be proud that his masterpiece has been so masterfully read to a new generation of readers/listeners. Thank you!
This is by far my favourite! It’s the 3rd time I’m listening to it, and probably listen to it again and again, the narrator is perfect, and I thank the podcasters for making the memorable works of Dickens available! It was on discovering the works of Dickens in 2020 that my sanity was preserved during the worst of times this world has had to endure. Thank you !
