  • 102.5’s best show

Darren, Daunic, and Chase is The Game’s best daily show for overall coverage. They are hands-down the best Preds coverage, and their coverage of other sports and teams in Tennessee is fantastic. Love when Darren and Willy get into one of their “discussions”, and Chase has been a good addition to the lineup.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

689: Elliotte Friedman FULL 904-17-26)
Q: You mentioned on the latest episode of 32 Thoughts that Nick Saban has played a big role in the latest round of in-person interviews for the Predators GM opening. What more can you tell us about that?
Friedman explains that Saban has been involved in the process, sharing opinions and asking questions, and that while not a candidate himself, his influence can be intimidating and shape how candidates prepare and respond in interviews.
679: Hour 3: Easton Freeze, Preds and more (04-14-26)
Q: Based on your intel, how do you expect the first three picks of the NFL draft to go next week?
Mendoza, Reese, and Bailey are the most likely trio to come off the board early, setting the Titans up for Four, with trade-down possibilities if teams want to move up for specific players like Arvel Reese or Jeremiah Love.
655: Barry Trotz FULL (04-07-26)
Q: How would you evaluate Andrew Burnett and the coaching staff's performance this year?
Trotz praises the coaching staff for their adjustments, the players' collaboration, and the group's ability to compete at a high level after an initial rough start.
660: Hour 1: If the Titans don’t draft Jeremiyah Love, how confident are we that Cam Ward can level up in Year 2?
Q: If the Titans do not draft Jeremiyah Love at number four, how confident are you that Cam Ward can level up in year two with essentially the same offensive cast?
Suss suggested that Ward's trajectory depends more on the developmental curve and roster upgrades than on one top running back; with better supporting pieces and coaching stability, Ward could still elevate in year two, though it's not guaranteed and will rely on the overall roster strategy.
664: John Glennon FULL (04-09-26)
Q: With the Predators in the thick of a playoff push, how would you evaluate the goaltending situation for the rest of the season and into the playoffs?
Glennon leaned toward continuing with UC Saros as the likely starter given recent road-trip performances, while acknowledging Ennin's recent playing time and noting that goaltender decisions are increasingly scrutinized by the media and fans.
