Emily is such a good interviewer and I really love the DJs she picked to interview for the podcast, who are all at the level where they have loads of great stories and wisdom, but still not the same old big name DJs who often get covered elsewhere. I also love crossfader as a segment. Poor Sync and Allen
If you like the music Emily Dust plays on her show then you’ll be into the people she interviews in this podcast. I’m a massive fan of of Emily Dust as she’s the DJ that has linked me to more good music than any other DJ since Stu Allen’s show in the 90s. more
I love this podcast, it feels like a really important corner of our cultural history is being explored and preserved. I’ve never heard these stories anywhere else, and even though I’m not a DJ they’re inspiring. I love the way Emily creates a space for her interviewees to feel they can be candid and vulnerable, but also funny and irreverent. I’ll be recommending this to my friends.
