Dad Genes is real, funny, and relatable! As a woman without kids, I find it super insightful in examining different ways of parenting while making it safe for parents to make mistakes. I really appreciate the tips and resources shared which I plan to adopt when I have children one day.
I love how there are so many intersections of perspective/experience between these three men. I know it’s called Dad Genes but I think this really explores conscientious parenting and partner-hood within that framework. I’ve learned so much to only be ten episodes in. Super grateful this exists.
I appreciate the hosts for being so open about how anxiety, depression, and adhd can look. I appreciate the info about raising free Black children! Yaaaassss communication! Yaaassss Black Fatherhood!
As a new dad myself, trying to figure out fatherhood during a pandemic, this podcast has been a place of refuge and reflection. The guys have great chemistry and offer an example of what I’m looking for in a peer-support space with other dads. I always take away something to think about and improve on and listening to this never feels like work.
Love this podcast! Guys have great chemistry and do a great job of being open. It is great to hear 3 different perspectives from three father’s with three different fathering experiences. Excited to follow along and see the show grow!
