孩子從幼兒園進入小學，是人生第一個重要的學習轉換期。許多家長會發現，孩子在幼兒園表現很好，但上了小學後卻出現坐不住、愛說話、分心或情緒容易爆發等情況。廖笙光老師指出，這往往不一定是注意力問題，而是學習型態、作息與環境改變帶來的適應落差。

例如孩子考了60分，不是只說「加油」，而是：
「我看到你這次準備更用心、訂正更仔細，也更有耐心了。」
