  • So sweet!

My kids and I love listening to these episodes! It’s so cool to hear the authors read their stories and answer questions about their stories, their writing, and in the Advent and Christmas series - their Christmas “favorites.” We listen to the stories during lunch (so not cuddled up somewhere cozy), but we all feel cozy listening to Gracie’s soothing voice and really get into the stories! We have two of the books, and LOVED being introduced to the others! We can’t wait to see them in person some... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

If the Pope Had a Puppy and If a Saint Had a Song by Gracie Jagla (feat. Katie Warner)
Q: Did the Pope have any pets historically?
Yes, there were Popes in the past who had pets, including an elephant in the Vatican gardens, and Pope Benedict XVI loved cats.
If the Pope Had a Puppy and If a Saint Had a Song by Gracie Jagla (feat. Katie Warner)
Q: Now, how did you choose the titles for your book, Gracie? Was the saint book always paired with a song?
'If the Pope Had a Puppy' was easy, but 'If a Saint Had a Sandwich' didn't work, so I shifted to 'If a Saint Had a Song' to emphasize praising God.
If the Pope Had a Puppy and If a Saint Had a Song by Gracie Jagla (feat. Katie Warner)
Q: Gracie, why did you choose to write these books in that style?
I was inspired by a mother whose son only wanted to read 'If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.' I wanted to create something similarly engaging yet Catholic.
You Were Born to Be a Saint with Kortnee Senn
Q: Which Saint would you most want to have a coffee with?
Either Saint Joseph or the children of Fatima.
Princesses of Heaven with Fabiola Garza- Interview
Q: How did you end up choosing the saints?
I wanted them to reflect the universal church and have different lives and personalities for relatability.
