This podcast is absolutely delightful!
Steph and Ian offer such a great insight into the Women’s game. Well researched, clever & funny. Such a lovely friendship displayed through your respiteful and natural interactions as two greats of the game. I just wanted to end with a final word on Ian. I’m 41, I grew up watching your supreme skill on the pitch, followed by intellutual and humourus interactions as a Pundit in the Male game. Now, I hear your insight, knowledge & respect of the Womens game just think you deserve a special shout o... more
Really fun, informative chat. Ian Wright is brilliant in everything he does, but Steph Houghton’s a revelation here. It’s great to get a sense of her personality, and her insights are fantastic especially from the point of view of a player with tactical insights etc. plus the banter is excellent
Great duo, love Ian Wrights support for the future of women’s football and Steph Houghton is a legend, her knowledge is 2nd to non, they bounce of each brilliantly. Love the in depth review of games and the honest sometimes brutal assessment of England 🏴 even though we all love England 🏴
I’ve tried, I’ve listened to 3 eps and I can’t take to it. I don’t like how Wright has become the authority on women’s football, and 99% of the time he only talks about the overrated Arsenal side, he just shouts over Houghton every 5 minutes aswell. I think he’s the reason I can’t like it. Houghton’s ok but only really talks about Man City and herself.
