    I saw a YouTube video of a teacher being interviewed.

    She said she was forced to pay union dues regardless of wanting to be in the union.

    She decided she would pay the full fee because at the time she was paying a fee anyway yet had no vote on any issues. So she signed up.

    She then decided if she was going to be a member, she might just as participate. She took a position with the union.

    As she worked , she worked her way up in three positions.
