Love the show, enjoy the banter between Mongo and Ligerbusa. Glad that they allow themselves to veer off course into their lives, action figure collecting, X-Men ‘97, or whatever is dominating their brain space at the time of recording. Keeps it interesting and gives a good look at who they are beyond wrestling dorks. :)
I stumbled upon this podcast on Twitter while looking up some upcoming wrestling game releases and decided to give it a shot. I’ve since gone back and listened to every episode and it has been a real pleasure. Hosts Mongo and Ligerbusa are long time members of the wrestling game community and really know their stuff. The coverage of current and retro wrestling games is always diverse and entertaining.

Two regulars share a candid, banter-heavy take on wrestling video games, figure collecting, and broader nerd culture. Episodes weave nostalgia with sharp critiques of licensing, monetization, and the shifting toy- and game-licensing landscape, while also galloping into personal hobbies like action figures, retro games, and comics. The format blends deep topic dives with offbeat tangents and personal anecdotes, making it appealing to collectors and long-time gaming fans who enjoy strong personalities and living-room conversation energy. A standout angle is the strong emphasis on collecting culture and licensing quirks in the wrestling ecosystem, which gives it a distinctive flavor within gaming and pop culture podcasts.
