Singer songwriter Ben Earle is offering Country fans a fresh take on the lives and careers of their favourite artists.
Country music has always been closely tied to the land from which it sprung, and as a result many of the best Country songs tell us stories with a strong sense of place; be it Dolly’s Mountain Home in Tennessee, Tim McGraw’s Nashville, or Cam’s Redwood Tree in California.

Absolutely loved both series, and really hope they’ll be a third!🤞
To me what stands out and makes this podcast unique, is because Ben is a fellow country music artist himself. He so naturally and genuinely relates to his guests as they are telling their stories of the places that have shaped them, and all the ups and downs they’ve encountered along their journey to stardom. You feel as a listener he genuinely relates to his guests because of his own experiences within the country music industr... more
As a Country music fan, it’s a treat to have one amazing artist talk to other amazing artists! The research that goes into each interview is done with care, and Ben is able to bring depth to the conversations with the added knowledge. He’s able to relate to the artist that he’s talking to and gives them space to tell their stories in such a natural way. I often feel like I’m sitting at the kitchen table with them, taking part in the conversation.
I found this podcast whilst searching for interviews with one of my favourite artists. I was really excited to see lots of episodes from artists who I loved so I downloaded them. Unfortunately, everything that artist had to say, the interviewer just turned around to talking about himself. His experience, his success, his music. I had to look the guy up because I’ve never even heard of him. I need to find he’s one half of a British pop country duo who have had small success. Tried a second episod... more
This is by a mile the best country music podcast I’ve come across. I’ve learnt so much about some of my favourite artists and artists new to me from Ben’s thoughtful and knowledgeable interviews. Really hope there’s more to come.
I was drawn to listen to Kezia and Tenille Townes interviews first but they were so good I’ve listened to every episode now. Ideal gym listening for a fellow country artist. Ben is a seriously professional and likeable host and is fantastic at gelling with the artist. Now a firm favourite podcast listen!
