  • Thank you for this

A passion project driven by their love of our school. Love the regular podcasts that keeps me company in the garden.

Hits best when guests aren’t immediately tied to their sorority and friend group though I can understand the need to find guests in a schedule.

Rebecca Rutstein: This Artist Uses the Ocean Like a Studio
Q: How did science influence your art, and when did collaborations with scientists begin?
I started collaborating with scientists around 2015, which opened up lifelong partnerships and reshaped my practice by letting me learn from their work while they were inspired by mine.
Rebecca Rutstein: This Artist Uses the Ocean Like a Studio
Q: Did you feel pressure to pick a lane as an artist after your BFA, or was the path non-linear for you as well?
I found it non-linear and challenging; there wasn't a strict career plan and I pursued independent study, a thesis show, and later grad work, moving across painting, sculpture, and evolving mediums.
Digit Murphy: Broken System. New Playbook. Women’s Sports.
Q: What makes a guest ideal for discussing sports leadership and investment?
A guest with deep experiential knowledge of the field, a track record of impact in women's sports, and the ability to articulate practical, scalable strategies for sustainable growth.
Digit Murphy: Broken System. New Playbook. Women’s Sports.
Q: What do you think about the role of private equity in women's sports?
Murphy argues for an ownership model that de-risks investments while enabling real influence over deals, stressing hands-on involvement and community-focused strategies to ensure cash-flow positive results.
Digit Murphy: Broken System. New Playbook. Women’s Sports.
Q: What was your take on the controversial phone call incident?
She criticized the locker room dynamics and called for accountability and apologies, framing the issue as a broader problem of respect and leadership in sports culture.
