Conversations against living miserably is a podcast created by Dave and CALM, the campaign against living miserably. Every week our hosts Aaron Gillies and Lauren Pattison talk to a different guest about how they live their day to day lives without misery. It's funnier than it sounds we promise.

Just Lauren and Aaron this week as they go through tips and tricks submitted by listeners to help our brains during all this weirdness. This episode was recorded remotely, so we are both terribly sorry about the sound quality not being perfect.

Lauren and Aaron are great. Love this podcast!
Very calming which I guess is the point 😄
I’ve enjoyed all the episodes, but especially the latest ones in our current troubled times. I hope you can continue in the future- we need you more than ever! Stay healthy everyone 🥰
Wonderful podcast. Light hearted and interesting discussions around mental health. Has really helped me feel like others can think and feel like me.
Found this at a low time in my life and my god, it had helped! Good work guys!
Mental health discussed in a funny, honest, and engaging way. I’ve laughed out loud listening to this podcast, but equally I always come away with that soul soothing feeling that I’m really not alone with this battle. Somehow everything seems... more manageable x
Great podcast, but thanks for playing with my OCD by making season 1 have 19 episodes...
Loving this podcast..I am not alone
This podcast provides a fascinating insight into the mental health strategies of others, in an entertaining and sometimes poignant way. It can be a difficult listen at times, as in the UK at least, the subject isn’t often spoken of, so it can trigger reflections on your own experiences which you may have avoided in the past - which is likely one of the desired outcomes of the podcast after all.
Thank you Dave and Mind, much appreciated
Just brilliant from start to finish, dealing with often sensitive subjects with humour and insight. It’s great to hear people talking so openly about mental health, and offering stories and experiences that so many others can relate to. Love it!
Always a funny podcast to listens to and helps normalise my own madness. Worth a listen for sure.
When I’m anxious, I feel isolated, even if I’m surrounded by family/friends. This podcast gives me a sense of perspective; it’s a positive thing you can do for yourself.
Just works on many levels. It’s funny yet covers a serious topic. I feel more centred after listening.
The show manages to make mental health a fun and accessible topic. There were some issues with the hosts and/or guets sounding awfully quiet in a number of the early episodes (when wearing headphones), but that seems to have been resolved in the more recent ones (for the record, i did not change my headphones). Would recommend to any and everyone.
