  • Evokes Nostalgia

This piece of works reminds me of when I was young. Back in my day you didn’t have color CGI. You had black and white cgi. That didn’t help with race relations at all. When RGB came along, the people of Asian complexion were upset. This podcast doesn’t directly deal with these heavy hitting issues but rather makes light of them.

  • Get the names right!

While I enjoy it to an extent the fact the can not get the names of 2 of 5 main characters of space above and beyond correct after 5 episodes really takes me out of it. One is a mispronunciation which if you were reading a book is fine but they say her name so there is no excuse. Also call someone named Wang constantly Wong is slightly racist don’t you think. Again they call him by his last name over and over in the show so pay attention. It just shows how much care they take.

  • Continuum Fan

Been a listener for years now and it has quietly become my favorite podcast. Great dynamic, questionable tv shows and the kind of old and not-so-old sci-fi some of us need. Even the guest are good! Not many other shows I can say that about. Don’t know why they keep doing this to themselves but I hope they continue at it, pretty sure I’ll listen as long as they do.

  • Great insight into crappy sci fi tv

Great hosts exploring the history of short lived sci fi tv, funny and interesting. Found some hidden gems through the show — personally I would recommend watching Space Above & Beyond and the Omen pilot!
