I’ve really enjoyed Wendy’s podcast since discovering it recently. She interviews experts in different fields to bring together lots of marketing experience in one place, and she’s opening to learning and sharing rather than preaching to her audience. Good work, Wendy!

Accelerating Complex Industrial Sales Cycles with 3D Product Visualizations
Q: How do you measure success for these 3D experiences?
For everyday marketing you track time/cost savings and output capacity. For the more aspirational experiences you look at influences on the buyer journey, shorter sales cycles, better conversion, stronger brand differentiation, and ultimately market share and sales, while recognizing attribution in B2B is multi-touch and imperfect.
Accelerating Complex Industrial Sales Cycles with 3D Product Visualizations
Q: How easy is it to create these 3D visuals compared with traditional CAD-based workflows?
CAD files are engineered assets with technical data; our platform strips away the unnecessary data, then optimizes and marketing-ifies the model. In many cases a 24- to 48-hour turnaround for marketing-ready visuals is realistic, and for large catalogs we've achieved rapid scaling—thousands of products in weeks rather than months.
Accelerating Complex Industrial Sales Cycles with 3D Product Visualizations
Q: What types of content and experiences are typically created with your platform?
We start with marketing-ready 3D visuals, then offer interactive 3D models with hotspots and AR to see products in a customer's environment; advanced uses include 3D product animations, virtual showrooms, and 3D configurators. Over time we noticed many manufacturers needed easier, scalable visuals, so we added MarTech3D Engine to produce these assets quickly and at a lower cost.
Audience Research, Zero-Click Content, and AI: How B2B Buyer Behavior is Changing Now
Q: What is your view on the rise of AI tools and their impact on search behavior?
Rand describes a slowdown in the growth rate of AI tool adoption with an acceleration in Google-driven AI answers, noting that people often verify AI-suggested results via Google, which still drives much traffic and brand interaction.
Audience Research, Zero-Click Content, and AI: How B2B Buyer Behavior is Changing Now
Q: What one thing should marketers try to change first if they're still focused on old top-of-funnel SEO?
The recommended shift is to identify the actual audience and their time spent on relevant platforms, then tailor content and placement accordingly, rather than blindly chasing traditional top-of-funnel keywords.
