The movie choices are a great mix between old and new, good and bad. Insightful and fun film breakdowns with uniquely angled discussion!
Excellent. Must listen for movie lovers.
It is a fun movie podcast that focuses on the joy that cinema can bring. Their taste may differ from your own, but they do a great job of justifying how to enjoy a certain feature. Do I stand by their suggestions of grander reassessments for films like “Freddy Got Fingered”? No! But do I know I am a cinematic snob from GEN X. I had the seventies to look back on and the indie boom of the nineties. Cinema cannot all be like that and should not be like that. This means there are somethings that mig... more
These guys love and know movies. The podcast is a lot of fun. Looks like I’ve added another to the playlist.
The hangout vibe here is pitch perfect, and these dudes have great chemistry. Once you listen to one, you’ll burn through their backlog. Great listen.

Great fellas who host a brilliant show talking about movies that run the gamut from glorious to glaringly bad. Every episode is a winner, though!
"A movie podcast focusing on good movies, bad movies, & everything else in between."
What's it about?
It's all about movies for these guys! Good, bad and what have you. Honestly, I prefer when they talk about bad movies. Maybe it's just the b-movie lover in me that adores it when bad movies get the spotlight. As promised though, they talk about all kinds of movies - so there's definitely something for everyone!

Definitely one of my favorite episodes are the ones are The Room related. You can tell that the hosts enjoyed each other's company a lot and :)
As a recent convert, I had the pleasure of checking out their episode on Katsuhiro Otomo's Akira, one of my favorite films. That's as good an episode to start with as any. These folks really dug into the history of the film, from its manga form to its film and production. They tackled themes and meaning, the beauty of the animation and more. This is exactly what you want in a film podcast: depth. That the hosts are also pretty funny folks is just the icing on the cake.

I’m honestly not much of a movie nerd, but I love movie podcasts. Well, podcasts in general, but love the movie commentary/review lane in particular. I think this crew delivers not only funny and entertaining commentary on classic, cult, and indie films, but they give unique, well researched insights about stuff that acts like a lure for films you may have glanced over 100 times with no interest in watching what do ever. The give homage to the vision of the directors, shine light on characters ju... more
