Um John Forte was great and now we get Melissa Lee x 2 bc she does fast money . These two are really boring hosts I don’t understand why they changed the hosts that were great . Stupid move and now another bad host change on another CNBC show that makes me skip the program . If it’s not broken don’t fix it
I prefer Closing Bell over Overtime. Scott Wapner is an excellent host and brings in quality guests. I was glad to see the switch to Melissa Lee and Mike Santoli, because I was not a huge fan of Jon Fortt. Usually, I had passed on Overtime unless specific company earnings were being released after the market close. Lastly, please stop bringing back members of the Halftime Report investment committee so often. Guests like Adam Parker, Liz Ann Sonders, Dan Greenhaus, Ed Yardeni, Prof. Siegel, and ... more
Enough with the excessive “reporter” (really news readers) involvement. It would be nice to hear a thing or two from your guests for a change.
Why are CNBC’s market shows so loud? It makes listening very tiring. It’s like watching cable news.
I’m really tired of all the shows soft-peddling the lack of coherent strategy and meat-axe approach by ”DOGE” to “downsizing” the Federal workforce and just call it what it is - the forced destruction of government services and the administrative state for everyone but the 1%. “DOGE” should, at minimum, publish a strategy, why certain things are targeted, and REAL savings achieved, not just blowhard PR. The “uncertainty” they continually refer to is because Trump and Musk have no agenda to actua... more

A fast-paced financial news program and its after-hours counterpart consistently center on the AI-driven rally, semiconductors, and big-tech leadership, with live market action, earnings reactions, and macro context all feeding into a narrative about AI compute demand, IPO chatter, and policy dynamics. Across recent episodes, conversations weave in AI infrastructure, major IPOs (notably Cerebras), chipmakers, OpenAI/Microsoft governance, and evolving US-China dynamics, often anchored by prominent investors and market strategists. The show stands out for its high-tempo format, on-site market color from the NYSE, and a recurring emphasis on how AI adoption, earnings momentum, and policy signals shape portfolios and risk sentiment.
