I really want to love this podcast, but have to unfollow it. Old time radio shows are so much fun! I even enjoy Mr. Cox’s reflections on this day in history, facts about the stars, etc. I use entertainment podcasts as a sort of “escape”; I just want to be entertained and spend some stress-free time. The reason for the 2 start rating is twofold: I don’t want to hear political opinions on a podcast that is supposed to be just fun. I could ignore that. But, then secondly, the feedback he talked abo... more
One of the things I’m thankful for on this Thanksgiving Holiday is for Wyatt’s Classic Radio Theater. I really enjoy these trips down America’s past. It remind of being a child and having an adult read me (or the class) a story. Thank you so much Wyatt for the time and effort you put into making these amazing shows…!
I recently received cochlear implants, which meant I could not enjoy the old radio show library I had accumulated. I was gifted an iPhone and I learned how Bluetooth worked and soon discovered podcasts of my “ old friends “ . For my money yours is the best ! I too love all the info about the news of the day , anniversaries of deaths and births. Since I am a history buff this is wonderful ! You, sir, will be sorely missed be this “ old curmudgeon “ . I wish you the very best with your health stru... more
I have enjoyed these programs for years. I am especially fond of the shows during the Christmas season. Mr. Cox always sounds so upbeat and pleasant. I am thankful that we will have the old podcasts to go back to. I really hope that Mr. Cox has a healthy rest and rejuvenation. Maybe in the future Wyatt can visit us with an update on how he is doing this Christmas season. I wish him the best and thank you for your time and efforts!!!!
I really enjoy how Wyatt brings history to the shows by reading news headlines from that day in history in the first hour and how he keeps us posted on celebrity birthdays and deaths. I really enjoy Johnny Dollar! All in all, an informative and entertaining show! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
