Beth’s passion for her subject is practically jumping out of this podcast. She has so many interesting and thought-provoking conversations with choral educators, singers and musicians and I always look forward to new episodes. She and her guests always leave me inspired and with so much to reflect on and think about. One of the most impactful episodes for me was Season 1, Episode 22 when she talked to Adam Paltrowitz from Choral Clarity blog. I definitely recommend this podcast to anyone involve... more
I learn so much every time I listen. I love the different kind of guests that are on the podcast and learning from their perspectives. A must listen to podcast!
The content of this podcast is fantastic! I have been teaching a long time, but I love learning and this has been beneficial. I am an advocate of learning from everyone. If I had one comment it would be on the audio. The levels need balanced. Sometimes the guest can’t be heard and the host is too loud and vice versa. I love this podcast though.
Beth does such a wonderful job connecting with and interviewing choral educators, performers, and the like. I always feel so inspired and connected to the people she interviews. I always hear many thoughts and experiences of my own echoed in these episodes. It’s so nice to know that there is a community of people who do what I do and feel the way I feel! Currently playing back-to-back episodes while getting my Choral room ready for the new school year! 😊
THANK YOU, Beth, for creating this space for choral collaboration! Each episode has been relative and insightful to me- Your vulnerability and honesty in the podcast is such a great example for all of us to be raw and available to our choirs and the music that we are directing. I think Choir Baton as a whole is a HUGE game changer for all of us as teachers and conductors. I can’t wait to watch the choral community grow and strengthen through this shared resource!
