Kris’ podcasts are hands down the best for any childcare owner. I listen to her podcasts to fill my mind with ideas for staff meetings and owner meetings. She always has a guest on that I can relate to. It’s so amazing that she brought this community of childcare owners together, I am so thankful for all information I take away from these podcasts.

  • Great for childcare directors and owners

I’ve probably listened to everyone of these episodes. I enjoy listening to Kris and all of her guests.

There aren’t many resources available to owners and directors of early childcare programs. This is a much needed resource for us. I’ve since participated in some of the child care success company’s trainings as well as now have attended one virtual success summit and will be in Vegas at the 2021 summit. I can’t wait.

    I highly suggest this podcast.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 230 — The Difference Between Owners Who Grow and Owners Who Stay Stuck with Ben Poswalk
Q: What advice would you give your 10-years-ago self?
Be more willing to be vulnerable and authentic, seek support, and trust your inner guidance. Building confidence comes from admitting what you don't know and taking disciplined, transparent steps forward.
Ep. 230 — The Difference Between Owners Who Grow and Owners Who Stay Stuck with Ben Poswalk
Q: What's a blind spot that owners often miss, especially when chasing external solutions for internal problems?
Many chase shiny external fixes like new software or marketing tactics while neglecting internal alignment—clear messaging, ownership, and a culture that supports ongoing relationships with families and staff.
Ep. 230 — The Difference Between Owners Who Grow and Owners Who Stay Stuck with Ben Poswalk
Q: If you had to look at all these conversations, what do you think separates owners who are really growing from those who stay stuck?
The key distinguishes action-takers who implement and execute over simply collecting information. Real growth happens when owners apply what they learn, bring it back to their teams, and stay consistent with new habits.
Ep. 229 — The End of "Perfect" Child Care Marketing with Parissa Snider
Q: Why is tuition transparency becoming more important in influencing enrollment decisions?
Consumers are more informed and priced-conscious; transparent pricing reduces uncertainty and helps families compare options, increasing trust and the likelihood of choosing your center.
Ep. 229 — The End of "Perfect" Child Care Marketing with Parissa Snider
Q: What should centers do to adapt their websites and FAQs for AI-driven search and decision-making?
Publish detailed, data-backed information; use FAQs built from actual staff tour questions; address difficult topics openly (e.g., safety, injuries, pricing); ensure content is structured for AEO so AI can pull accurate, useful answers.
