  • Thank you

Wes has a great finger on the pulse of the motorcycle industry. The podcast is not overly long but wonderfully informative. He gives me many points to investigate on my own and perks my interest on future purchases. Thanks again.

  • Really Easy Podcast to Listen Too

Listened to quite a few episodes now and I’ve really enjoyed it. I am one of the hosts of the HOG-POD UK and Ireland Podcast and find this one a really interesting listen. Defo worth a look, even as a huge Harley-Davidson fan myself!

  • A tough listen

The guests are interesting and Wes asks decent questions, however we are here to listen to the story the guest has to tell and could have a little less from the interviewer. The 'News' portion could be improved if it did not sound like someone reading from a page. I have listened to most of the episodes for the content but the delivery could be polished a bit.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

David Jenni of Enduristan (177)
Q: What makes Blizzard saddlebags special and how does the crash-replace concept work?
Blizzard saddlebags are designed for crash resilience with a plug-in crash replace part; if a bag is stressed in a crash, the part can be replaced quickly, allowing riders to get back on the road.
David Jenni of Enduristan (177)
Q: How do you decide what features to pursue in product design?
We base decisions on customer feedback, our own experience, and market competition, prioritizing durability, waterproofing, and solving real user problems rather than chasing every new suggestion.
David Jenni of Enduristan (177)
Q: Is it true that you founded Enduristan with your wife after a desert trip and that was the motivation for the product line?
Yes, the idea came from a problematic trip in Tunisia where luggage failed, which led to the first waterproof Sandstorm bag and the decision to build rugged luggage for adventure bikes.
Zack Witkowsky (Restorations Part 6)
Q: What is Zack's approach to a donor bike for customization or restoration?
Zack starts by interviewing the owner to learn their needs and lifestyle, then assesses the bike's health through electrical, mechanical, and compression checks to determine if it's a viable foundation for the project.
George Mangicaro (Restorations Part 4)
Q: What advice do you have for someone considering a vintage bike?
Test ride the bike first, as expectations often don't match the reality of vintage riding.
